So ELF Cosmetics is having an anniversary sale where you can get 5 $1 items for free. What a great promo! So I go online and order my stuff. One of the items I chose was the black liquid liner. Now I have used many brands but thought what the heck it's free! So I get my order today and used it on my most recent tutorial MAC Metal X. I have to say out of a 10 I give this liner a 2! First of all the SMELL is overwhelming. It really wreaks. Then the formula is not that great. I had to dip the foam applicator 3 time just for 1 eye. Now you all know I love ELF because they area approved by PETA but this is one product that's going in the trash. I just cant stand the smell. It smells like chemicals. Now most makeup has some form of additives but this ones smells like it belongs in the bathroom for cleaning out your drain!

AVOID getting this at all cost (even if it is free..LOL) ELF has many other cosmetics that are wonderful. If you are interested and want to try out their line check them out at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ they always have great promos and their mineral line is amazing.

See ya soon!

Benefit "Benetint"

So I go into ULTA today to check out the benefit line. Now this is NOT my first time checking out this brand but it was not easily accessible before now. So I go in and the first thing I see is the big benefit display. I am checking out some of the products I have seen before but never tried... until TODAY.

The benetint is a highly talked about stain for your lips and cheeks. That is really what I was looking for. So, I tried it. All I have to say is HOW is this crap so popular. The formula is too watery and the stain does not show up well. I expected a lot more from this line, and especially from a product so many people seem to talk about.

Please ladies do not waste $30 ordering this product online. It will be a waste of your time and money. It is not worth it and unless you are as white as milk it will not help you much! This is my first review of something I did not like...and it won't be the last. I hope I can help you ladies out with going through the good AND the bad products out there to save you some $$$!

Dove Shampoo and Conditioner

This review is on the new Dove shampoo and conditioner line. I have been a loyal user of MATRIX for years. After a while I just didn't notice and difference in my hair. I decided to try Dove shampoo and condition Moisturizing.
Since I style my hair daily by blow drying, flat ironing or curling it gets pretty damaged. I gave this shampoo a month to see what the results are.
I really like it! For a drug store brand it works well. The conditioners are amazing and makes your hair feel silky soft and SMELL wonderful. It does repair the choppiness your ends can start to loo like.
For the price I would recommend that you all try and and see how it works for you!
See ya soon!

This product had so many random reviews. I needed a new mascara so when I saw this one I had to pick it up.
I got a 2 pack(one for my mom) and I usually get black. I didn't realise it until I got home but I got classic brown by mistake! Oh well, lets see what it can do.....
Now I usually use false lashes on a daily basis. I was not sure it would work well with them without making my lashes clumpy. I can say now that I really really really like this product! It thickens your lashes, it does not flake off, and it long wearing. It washes off easily and stays on all day. It is what you would expect for the #1 Mascara making company!

AVON MagiX Face Perfector

AVON MagiX Face Perfector promises:

"A magical air-light gel-powder colorless formula that makes all skin tones look flawless... invisible coverage; instant perfection. Banish shine up to 10 hours. "

My Review.... what they promise they deliver. I have used almost every face primer out there. I have never really been a fan of them or even wanted to use them! Now that I am in my early 30's I've noticed that it is a MUST. This product surprised me. When I think of AVON high quality make-up, or even make up primer come to mind. I bought this from a friend that was selling AVON just to give it a try. It was only $5 why not???

I fell in love with it the first day. I usually use a product from DHC(velvet skin coat) which is pretty expensive. This product is VERY similar. It gives your skin a matte look and keeps away the greesies. I get oily in my T-Zone so I gave this product a whole day (6:30am-10:00pm) to see how it stood up. AVON says that the matte finish will last up to 10 hours. It did fall a little short here. around 2pm I noticed I was a little shiny but not too bad. Not enough where I needed to touch up with powder. I would recommend this product for everyone! Find who your local AVON rep is or even get it online. You won't be disappointed.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse

OK so I have read a lot of reviews on this product. Good AND Bad! I decided to try it for myself. Now I don't usually use liquid foundation. I don't really like the way it feels plus I feel like it usually soaks right into my pores and GROSS!

However, I love this formula! It really does what the commercials says. It makes your skin appear pore less (well.....almost). It blends in well and lasts all day. Now the coverage in LIGHT. It is not meant to be for someone that needs serious coverage. My skin is in pretty good condition. I have a few sun spots and discoloration but this covers well. It leaves your skin with a slightly dewy finish and makes you look youthful and beautiful.

The first time I wore it my oldest daughter Ashley said "Mom, you look like a teenager" That comment alone will make me wear it more often!

I have been wearing it for about a month and my color is Nude Light 4. I even got my mom and little sister to use it! It works that well :) For a drugstore brand I would recommend this.

Talk to you all very soon!

Welcome Everyone!

Hi Everyone! Yea I got my own beauty blog going finally! Let me give you a little back round on myself. I am 31, and married to the most wonderful man in the world. Without my husband I would have never posted videos on youtube. I am also a mother of 4 daughters. Yes I said 4! Ashley (9), Madison (8), Lauren (5), and Carrington (3). I also work full-time in Customer Service for a major bank here in California. I am an animal lover and have lots of them! 2 dogs, Quinn (Westie) and Mandy (Yorkie), 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and lots of fish. I am a busy woman and sometimes I wonder how I get it all done everyday.

I love make-up! I always have and I always will. I think the first time my mom let me play with make-up I was about 10. I couldn't wear it until high school. I learned some of my best make-up tricks from my mom. Over the years my technique has gotten better and better. I started my video's on youtube and this blog because I get asked all the time "How do you do that"? "Can you teach me"? "Are you a professional"? FAR from being a professional but I think with all my experience I am pretty good. My goal is to teach woman out there that they can enhance their own natural beauty and JUST HAVE FUN! That's what make-up is for! Don't be scared, just jump in and experiment until you get the look you want.

I hope that this beauty blog will be beneficial to everyone who visits. Thank you to all my member and subscribers. Without you I would have no reason to do this!!!
